Bio:
<p><strong>Joseph Hoo</strong> is the vice president of advanced technology and China affairs at the General Bearing Corporation, and spearheaded its expansion into China beginning in 1987. A metallurgist by training, he has been working in the steel bearing business for over 50 years.</p>
<p>Hoo, who was born in China in 1934, is a graduate of the National University of Japan, where he received his BS in Engineering. He is also a graduate of the University of Michigan where he received his MSE in Metallurgy and Engineering.</p>
